Summary: Standby Dental is a marketplace that introduces dental nurses to dental practices. We are not the employer of either party and are not a clinical services provider. Each shift is a direct contract between the practice and the nurse.

Nurses operate as independent contractors. You are responsible for your own income tax, National Insurance, and any VAT registration where applicable. We are not your employer; we will issue payment summaries but do not deduct PAYE.

Disputes about a Shift (no-show, payment, conduct) must first be raised via the in-app dispute flow. We will mediate in good faith but cannot adjudicate clinical complaints — those go to the GDC.

Each user agrees to indemnify Standby Dental against losses arising from their breach of these Terms or from clinical or contractual obligations to other users.

Either party may terminate by deleting their account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, fraud, or safety concerns.

We will give 14 days' notice of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
